Meet the Team
Senior Partner, 50 Years Experience
Gordon moved to Scotland in 1969 with a major building contractor, after a career in Structural engineering. Within a couple of years he joined a Glasgow firm of Chartered surveyors and set up their Estate agency practice. In 1979 on his own account he branched out with Gordon Adams & Partners (GAP) eventually amalgamating that practice into Nationwide and was appointed Sales & Marketing director. G & S Properties was created in 1985. Gordon brings a wealth of experience to the Partnership in sales, associated building engineering and a great all round knowledge of the estate agency process, and like all the partners is always available.
Financial & Tax Partner, 50 Years Experience
Sandra moved to Scotland in 1970 following Gordon with their young son after a financial career in the Inland Revenue and later in a private accountancy firm. She joined Gordon in the Surveying practice specialising in Property management and finance, then supporting Gordon in GAP, managing the finances and the property management department. When the amalgamation took place with Nationwide Sandra was appointed Accounts director. She followed Gordon into G & S Properties and now manages the Property Management section and the group finances. Sandra brings many years of financial and tax expertise to the partnership.

Managing Partner, 26 Years Experience
Educated at the High School of Glasgow from 1975 -1988 and graduating from Edinburgh Napier University in 1994 with BA Hons in Commerce and marketing. Mark’s education has given him a platform to maximise his skills in property sales and letting in the West of Scotland. With 26 years’ experience at the forefront of the market, Mark’s knowledge in sales and letting is paramount to the guidance and advice he can provide the seller and buyer, from conception to completion whether sourcing, marketing, selling, letting, or financing property. He brings a friendly and confident approach to the partnership. Mark is keen on fitness with regular visits to the gym and when time allows he skis on Loch Lomond.
Jamie Adams (Jamie.Adams@gsproperties.co.uk)
Partner, 22 Years Experience
Educated at the High School of Glasgow from 1980 -1993 and graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University in 1998 with BSc in Property Management and Development has provided Jamie with a background knowledge of valuation, development and related property issues. Coupled with 22 years of front line experience in the Glasgow residential sales and letting market gives Jamie a wealth of market knowledge which he brings to the partnership in valuation and delivers in a friendly and personable manner. Through our Sister Company, Comstock Landholdings, as Land Director, Jamie offers a wealth of knowledge, analysis and advice for landowners in the development process. A keen family man with two sons he spends his off time with his boys and when time allows plays golf at Glasgow Killermont Golf club, where he is a member.

Sales Manager, 22 Years Experience
Anne has a wealth of experience in the industry having joined G & S Properties in 1998. Now with 22 years with G & S, she has progressed speedily to Sales Manager, a position she enjoys ensuring that clients receive the best possible attention and that G & S remains the area’s leading Estate Agency. In her spare time, Anne enjoys gardening, cooking, cycling, spending time with her family & friends and keeps fit with Yoga, Pilates & Zumba. Having been with the company for over 16 years, Anne initially worked for the NHS in hotel and accommodation services. She moved in 1990 to a post as a Training Officer in IT services before joining G & S in 1998, where she now manages the Sales operations. Anne has a keen interest in the property market, living locally brings considerable knowledge of the area which inherently adds to the strength of the G & S sales team.

Property Management, 25 Years Experience
Jackie has been with G & S for 25 years since 1995 having spent a career in GA insurance and later in retail customer services, both which gave her an excellent platform in her role with G & S as a Property Letting Manager. Jackie ensures the smooth running of all G & S Properties tenancies. Jackie’s tasks include preparing for a new tenant to move in, arranging annual gas checks to dealing with emergency maintenance issues. She says “No day is ever the same for me!” Jackie is passionate about ensuring all our tenants have a successful tenancy with us, this in turn provides our landlords with the security of happy tenants and expertly managed properties.

Mary’s background has always been in the financial and administrative sectors, having worked for two major Banks and a Credit Referencing Agency before joining the team at G&S Properties in April 1996. Her dedication, hard working attitude and knowledge of the job, along with her ability to communicate with other members of staff, earned her a promotion to Administration and Accounts Manager in April 1999. In her spare time Mary enjoys spending time with her family, holidays in the sun, reading, baking and eating out.
